Elegant Reasonism is an epistemology supported by a utility process employing an analytic framework which seeks truth as a function of the unified Universe as a philosophical predicate priority consideration entering science which produced the first fully compliant Encapsulated Interpretive Model (EIM) closing to unification: The Emergence Model, following the rules enumerated below.

Elegant Reasonism received Patent Pending 16405134 status on 7 May 2019 and was published by the USPTO worldwide on 26 Nov 2020; see press release entitled Unification Accomplished. At that time the USPTO established and recognized Charles C McGowen as the inventor, and at that point we ceased aggressive pursuit in favor of revolutionizing civilization relative to and respective of the unified Universe. In short, it is the best way to achieve the mission of strategic sustainability. Elegant Reasonism is a methodology. Elegant Reasonism is a process. Elegant Reasonism is a technology. And Elegant Reasonism represents one of the most significant epistemologies ever created by humanity. How can we possibly say that about something so new? The answer to its intrinsic profundity is that it seeks truth from the actual real unified Universe. Traditional epistemologies seek truth from the context of their defining belief systems. Empiricism, for example, looks for evidence that can ultimately be verified “at scale” by human physiology. Elegant Reasonism provides the analytical framework intrinsically integrating other epistemologies as necessary but insufficient to gain the precipice of unification.

Standards

Elegant Reasonism employs ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS) standards for quality control. Industry standard root cause analysis and other investigative techniques are employed to ensure integrity. Concepts like Baldrige, Kaizen (aka Kaisen) and other quality programs also aid continual improvement processes. Six Sigma helps determine Sigma Defects and adherence to the realm of the C’s.

Elegant Reasonism seeks to eliminate commission of Langer Epistemology Errors (LEEs) in compliant investigations. See Process Decision Checkpoint Flowchart for activites overview. EIM declaration is essential characterizing assertions. There exists a fine line between reflecting the unified Universe (e.g. reality) and declaring you know what it is, and we should avoid the latter. Sigma Defects should have their EIM basis also declared and reported relative to fully compliant mode shifted Six Sigma efforts.

Mode shifting any given investigation usually conforms to these general approaches:

 

Enumerated Rules

  1. Truth is always a function of the actual real unified Universe. The holistic unified Universe is always held discrete, apart, and litmus to any investigation of it or model reflecting it. Never does any Elegant Reasonism Treatise claim ‘to be’ the actual real unified Universe, rather it always and without exception provides encapsulated interpretive models which describe it either logically or physically. This rule is specifically intended to prevent and preclude commission of Langer Epistemology Errors (LEEs).
    1. The actual real Universe is unified whether our thinking about it is or is not.
      1. It should be encouraged to use the word ‘reflecting’ reality rather than ‘describing’ reality. The intent here is to limit or lessen exposure to committing LEEs.
      2. The unified Universe spans all gradients of scale (See Entanglement Gradient) and may be explored along either emergence or convergence vectors (or both).
      3. Includes everything real (e.g. all that is).
        1. Special note here resulting from Bang to Bang analysis suggests the area within our particle horizon is ‘our’ Universe and that ‘the’ Universe encompasses many more instances and because they are beyond our particle horizon we will never have any knowledge of them. The point here relative to and respective of these rules relates to terminology usage, specifically in the case of “the unified Universe”. (See Concepts 0001, 0071, 0072, 0078 of EMCS01)
        2. Under these rules, and holistically in context of this body of work, investigators should constantly affect critical situational awareness thinking to great effect in order to maintain cognizant integrity exactly because insights may yield unexpected awareness and how that may or may not affect any given EIM or set of them. Such insights may suggest the need for an incremental EIM beyond those already recognized. In any event Elegant Reasonism demands a plurality of EIMs be employed for these and other reasons.
      4. That the unified Universe is geometrically valid is considered self-evident and consequently it is always held distinct and litmus.
    2. Model is construed to mean 100% of all abstractions, constructs, paradigms, descriptions, rules, relationships, mathematics, etc., necessary to reflect reality of the actual real unified Universe.
    3. LEEs constitute a ‘Sigma Defect‘.
      1. Moving left to right through the Generalized Process Flow Langer Epistemology Errors are identified and reconciled in context of the unified Universe
  2. Encapsulated Interpretive Models (EIMs) establish their own unique, discrete, context (e.g. context is a function of encapsulation).
    1. Models are to be fully documented consistent with ISO 9001 QMS standards and for this purpose the ISO 9001 Unification Tool or its equivalent may be used.
      1. Model encapsulation is required due to establishment of philosophical context as a function of unification as a predicate priority consideration.
        1. Axiology (Philosophy of value derivation)
        2. Epistemology (Philosophy of knowledge)
          1. All data associated with historical or traditional epistemologies is to be statistically weighted relative to and respective of the unified Universe in fully compliant Treatise.
        3. Logic – (philosophy of reasoning)
        4. Ontology (Philosophy of being)
        5. Science (Philosophy of nature)
        6. Supervenience (Philosophy of order and priority)
      2. Changes within declared models are prohibited (e.g. not allowed). {Moving of ‘goal posts’, objectives, goals, etc. is a violation of these rules.}
      3. Any change to a given model instance results in an iteration of the original or basis model and there are no limits on how many iterations may exist.
        1. All Treatise communications must declare an EIM enumeration iteration instance identifier.
      4. Models may be determined obsolete, and superseded by incremental iterations.
    2. Exactly due to rule 2.0.0.0. above EIM based unification must exist in/with/between the core constructs of any encapsulated interpretive models as a matter of philosophical predicate priority before any other considerations.
    3. Comprehensive encapsulation of any given interpretive model must conform to the Realm of the C’s.
    4. Paradigms of Interest/Nature (POI/N) must be mode shifted EIM to EIM exactly because the foundational context changes.
    5. All abstractions, paradigms, constructs whether composite or constituent must also be mode shifted model to model for exactly the same reasons of contextual changes at intrinsic levels.
    6. Each encapsulated interpretive model has an associated Six Sigma ratio number (e.g. Sigma Ratio or just Sigma) indicating its holistic capability of aligning with the actual real unified Universe.
    7. Abstractions have a tendency to insulate and isolate higher ordered ideas from lower ordered detail. Core constructs of any given encapsulated interpretive model are highly systemic and must be explicitly declared. The rudimentary database in our Software Library may be used for this purpose.
    8. Models of the Universe minimally have two encapsulated interpretive ‘views’ (aka EIMs); one logical and one physical. For example The Emergence Model itself is holistically a composite of both M5 and M6. Logical models are more precise than are physical models. Logical models have defined inputs, outputs, and behaviors where physical models may accomplish manifestation of phenomena a number of different ways. The Emergence Model‘s logical view M5, for example, has received more focus than has its physical view M6 exactly for this reason. This is especially true in light of the fact that much R&D into how architectural mass manifests all physical properties (See EMCS02) remains.
      1. NOTE: Great care should be taken not to commit Langer Epistemology Errors in investigation conduct associated with physical view EIMs. Generally herein it is viewed that humanity is not yet mature enough to conduct such investigations for a variety of reasons, the least of which is technology based.
  3. Elegant Reasonism requires a plurality of Encapsulated Interpretive Models (EIMs) be employed by all investigations, one of which is required to close to unification, relative to the set of investigative paradigms of nature or of interest.
    1. Every aspect of any given investigation must, to the extent possible, conform to “the Realm of the C’s“.
    2. The concept of Mode Shifting is enabled and otherwise empowered through effectively executing Elegant Reasonism‘s utility process phases: Recognition, Illumination, and Analysis.
    3. Any assertion made within an encapsulated interpretive model of the Universe which does not close to unification and cannot be represented within such a model which does close to unification constitutes a ‘Six Sigma: Sigma Defect‘ within the holistic investigation. Examples of such defects are: logic artifacts, logic traps, concept compression issues, etc.
    4. Multiple Encapsulated Interpretive Models (EIMs) within the plurality set employed by an investigation which successfully manifest any given set of Paradigms Of Interest/Nature (POI/N) and which survive analytics, rigor and discipline are said to be “simultaneously true”, even if only ‘logically true’ within their relative and respective encapsulation. The general idea is to have the same physics instantiated by as many different EIMs as possible in order to better understand what lay beyond the fine line preventing commission of Langer Epistemology Errors and not falling prey to LEEs Empiricism Trap.
  4. The distinction between mathematics and any other discipline of science is that mathematics is isotropic holistically across the Elegant Reasonism process, technology, treatise, and epistemology.
    1. Variables, Constants and other constructs may require mode shifted contextual changes EIM to EIM and are therefore constrained within Encapsulated Interpretive Models (EIMs) exactly for this reason. The constant ‘c’ mode shifts between models employing the spacetime construct (e.g. M1, M2, and M3) from meaning ‘speed of light’ to mean under The Emergence Model: Severance. Investigators should be keenly aware of how mode shifting affects conversational dynamics in all communications (See: In Unification’s Wake, Part 03: Communications.)
    2. Phrases like “the mathematics works” ultimately tie out to the context established by the relative and respective Encapsulated Interpretive Model (EIM) and not the actual real unified Universe. To claim otherwise is to commit Langer Epistemology Errors.
    3. When we employ phrases like “the Elegant Reasonism mathematics works” we must define that in holistic assessment in Treatise. This is a highly rigorous and disciplined statement and carries the full analytical weight of the intellectual asset behind it. It should not be used lightly.
  5. Elegant Reasonism tools employ both horizontal and vertical components and constituents within their nature. That is to say each analytical layer may have a particular focus either horizontal in nature, vertical in nature, or some permutation. How these operations are conducted must be articulated consistent with ISO 9001 QMS standards and such descriptions should comply with the Realm of the C’s articulated herein.

    2. Translation Matrices which may include but are not limited to:
      1. 2D Articulation Layer
      2. Historical Context & Original Source Review
      3. EIM Integrity Analysis Layer
      4. EIM to EIM Relative to and Respective of POI/N
      5. Paradigms of Interest/Nature (POI/N) Statistical Layer
      6. Logic Calculus Layer
      7. Reality Alignment/Validation and Statitical Layer
      8. Bayesian Statistics Layer
      9. Translation Matrix Analysis Layer
      10. Heuristics Analysis / Statistics
      11. Metacognitive Analysis Layer
      12. Six Sigma Layer(s)
    3. Holistic Precipice demands special care and attention exactly because perception made manifest by one encapsulated interpretation is not necessarily perceivable from another. Only when the Process Decision Checkpoint Flowchart can be effectively navigated can these answers be obtained.
      1. Root Cause Analysis
      2. Metrics must also be mode shifted
  6. The holistic Elegant Reasonism based Treatise is based on the investigative body of work, complete with its associated Six Sigma ratio, supporting it.
    1. Consequently based on these rules there are at least two ‘types’ or ‘classes’ of ‘Sigma Numbers’ associated with a given investigation; one for each Encapsulated Interpretive Model (EIM), and one for the holistic investigation.
  7. Full Compliance is construed to mean holistic application of these rules and patently illuminate and illustrate adherence to:
    1. the Realm of C’s (most especially ‘close),
    2. Standards,
    3. Evidence Chains are compliant, no matter how restful they may be
    4. Must be holistically consistent with all other fully compliant Treatise or outline reconciliation

Speical Note re: 7.1: Closure and Context within that set of metrics requires rigorous attention to detail.
