Volume

Volume is the measure of the 3-dimensional area of matter (e.g. Architectural Mass) within an Event Frame or a Local Frame as appropriate, or enclosed by a surface, measured in cubic units and employing any given such configuration or set of configurations as the geometric basis point for such measurements. The SI unit of volume is the cubic meter (m³), which is a derived unit.

• Liter (L) is a special name for the cubic decimeter (dm³). The symbol for the liter is uppercase letter “ell” (L) is preferred to avoid the risk of confusion between the lowercase letter “ell” (l) and the number one (1). The script letter l (l) is not an approved symbol for the liter.
• Milliliter (mL) is a special name for the cubic centimeter (cm³).

Investigators reading this should be keenly aware that the language here is a derivative of The Emergence Model since it is the EIM fundamentally manifesting foundational context for the language characterizing this physical property circa 2021. At sometime in the future there may be more than one fully compliant EIM but that condition may be years or decades off in the future. The point is that when and if that happens it may be possible to develop a neutral definition for this abstraction which minimizes Langer Epistemology Errors. Investigators will likely find the language here unfamiliar and the reason for that essentially derives from Proposition 0025: Our focus must shift away from the medium and onto what is in it and other supporting propositions and concepts to be sure. One of the direct implications of this is elimination of the term space in any definition exactly because it has no influence over anything real. Mode shifting volume, for example, is interesting because what we are interested in is the material in that volume not the space holding it. The mode shifted question then becomes about how permutations of architectures of mass from across the entanglement gradient can fill that volume.
