Concepts

There is something of a distinction that must be made at the outset here but before we point that out we must reiterate ‘what’ Elegant Reasonism ‘is’. Elegant Reasonism is an epistemology supported by an analytical framework through a utility process which seeks truth as a function of the unified Universe as a philosophical predicate priority consideration entering science and it is that utility process which produced The Emergence Model. Historically when we empirically observe the truth of some phenomena such as Newton’s laws we presume that our perceptions are telling us the whole truth in those circumstances. Newton’s laws, for example, (Concept 0038, 0039, 0040),illustrate a needed epistemological distinction. Note: that the standard what, when, where, why, and how questions mode shift between EIMs. So, for example, if I asked why is Newton’s Second Law (0039) true one might answer with the mathematical formula deriving that outcome and that has been an acceptable answer for hundreds of years. However, not until we mode shift Newton’s laws into alignment with the unified Universe do we realize that those answers were really answering ‘what‘ questions because they were based in M1 thinking. Not until we had The Emergence Model did we understand that it intrinsically answers ‘why‘ those laws are true. The point here is in distinguishing the source of perception as we conduct root cause analysis during investigations employing the Decision Checkpoint Flowchart.

The question then becomes which description is that of the ‘natural law’ the M1 description or the M5 description, because both are logically and simultaneously correct in their own contexts. We will update this page with more as the site matures with more and more refined content.

Empiricism, as an epistemology, has served civilization well for many centuries; however, at its core is the need to put phenomena into human scaled context that our species can share with one another. Something Susanne K Langer seemed keenly aware of. Elegant Reasonism, as an epistemology, integrates empiricism but statistically weights phenomena and experimental results relative to their full compliance with the unified Universe and therein lay a critical distinction between the two epistemologies. You may have a concept that has perfect congruance with a particular EIM but if that EIM does not close to unification, then you have more work to do. It is important here not to confuse the process and the result. Elegant Reasonism is the utility process and The Emergence Model is just one result. In the coming years there may be more EIMs which also close to unification better than The Emergence Model. The fundamental point here relative to concepts articulated herein is the critical situationally aware thinking necessary to distinguish the utility process from EIMs from paradigms of interest/nature (POI/N) so that we can establish effective mode shifting between the various EIMs. Only in this way can we properly illuminate and illustrate the needed concept to its core message and content relative to and respective of the unified Universe.

The purpose of this particular page generally describes the outline of specific concepts articulated in particular on their own pages. This page also acts as an outline of those concept pages and so illustrates what you should expect. Below where you encounter Lorem Ipsum text they are placeholders for actual text which ultimately will be integrated into the various individual concept pages. That text is not indicating that this page is not as complete as we are going to make it, but we reserve the right to continue to improve the effectiveness of communications it is intended to provide.

Elegant Reasonism concepts here usually represent mode shifting ideas across models and specific holistic insights that may result. While concepts employ mathematics and specific equations it should be noted that an attempt is made to present only a single equation for each concept. Our experience is that equations constitute a specific pattern, set of relationships, detail sets, etc, within each Encapsulated Interpretive Model (EIM). The focus of each concept page should be mode shifting that specific information across the model set. The M1 variant of such equations are likely familial whereas formulas derived by other models are may be quite alien. Each relative and respective page then articulates how to mode shift the concept across contextual changes imposed by relative and respective models.

Generally speaking the intent is to develop concepts here consistent with the Elegant Reasonism Generalized Process Flow as discussed in the various phases: Recognition, Illustration, and Analysis, including developing a treatise with ultimate culmination of an Elegant Reasonism compliant Treatise.

Systems Review Notes

The original systems review notes discuss each concept and construct in Elegance of Reason: Discerning Patterns in Earth’s Emergence. Concepts here are listed as equation numbers in the original notes. Investigators be warned that these notes are considered obsolete as many of the equations as listed there have not yet been fully mode shifted. However, the surrounding discussion may be helpful to you.

Generalized Concepts vs Specific Implementations

This page describes generalized concept outlines for those specific implementations found herein. Related concepts supporting specific systems reviews or investigations constitute what Elegant Reasonism calls “Sieves” because they act as translation points between models relative to the holistically juxtaposed paradigms of interest which in turn forms the analytical hierarchy during that phase of the process. Our original Systems Review has two pages listing the concepts constituting that particular sieve: EMS01 Enumerated Concepts and EMS01 Named Concepts. The former lists just the concept numbers which can be used for quick links and communications, and the latter lists the names associated with each concept so you can find what you are looking for if you don’t already know.

Implementation on SolREI.co

Our intent is to establish a common framework for concepts as they are mode shifted across various models. That framework will articulate an enumerated concept, for example Concept-0001. Pages will be reserved for that concept for each model such that mathematical equations can be presented in the context of that particular model. All pages with the same enumeration represent the same concept but from the point of view of that particular model. The math for Concept 0001 then would be M1-EQ-0001, M5-EQ-0001, etc. There are several reasons for this approach. First it concentrates the Treatise discussion with the Concept-0001 page. Second we cannot guarantee that The Emergence Model will be the only model ever to close to unification. Someone may come up with another model and in that event this allows us to quickly integrate that derivative model into the holistic thinking rapidly. It also allows everyone to know how to find information they are looking for even if they don’t use the menus on the website.

Given the implementation taxonomy we are implementing means that users will be able go to our home page and search on, for example, 0001 and retrieve a list of the concept and all of the various pages discussing that concept. We also point out that we encourage investigators to share links back into our system, consistent with our hyperlinking policy, in order to help others comprehend what it is we have accomplished and help everyone to reduce or eliminate Langer Epistemology Errors. You may then tie any of that information back to our User Library as appropriate. Delivering value to our insights subscribers, customers, and business clients this information set will (when completed) provide over 400 mode shifted examples resulting from Elegant Reasonism from our original Systems Review that resulted in The Emergence Model.

“Concept” Enumeration

What we mean by Concept Enumeration is that when you search on a four digit number (i.e. 0033) you may also run across Thought Experiments, Propositions, and other types of unrelated materials. The four digit enumeration tieing concepts to the various model equations is exclusive to that domain of discourse and should not be construed as related to these other types of materials. It was simply an easy way to bring material together. The original Systems Review processed greater than 400 concepts through Elegant Reasonism in order to develop The Emergence Model. If we pause for a reflective moment and think about the consulting architecture behind any given Systems Review conducted with our purpose of seeking unification, what we ultimately conclude is that there are some set of ‘concepts’ or ‘equations’ forming the epicenter of the investigation. Given the issues of encapsulation and mode shifting, we call these facilitating concepts or equations ‘sieves’ (e.g. Equation Sieves). Such sieves must develop and employ equations for every model in the pluralistic set required by Elegant Reasonism for the relative and respective investigation.

Concept Sieves

Concepts 0001 through Concepts 0400+ etc., are those original concepts and we call that The Emergence Model Sieve 01. The ISO 9001 Unification Tool

Use of this tool or its equivalent is strongly encouraged for all investigations. It will be noticed that our tool is only populated with enough information to be exemplary. It is not fully populated and this was done on purpose. Yes we have considerably more information and we may yet provide subsequent iterations of the tool with more complete information. We did this because it is our opinion that the international community needs to come together and decide exactly the base line set of models and model iterations need to be provided and we cannot do that in a vacuum or “from on-high”. It is not our place to make such declarations. It is our place to offer a potential framework that would allow these communities to come together and be facilitated by such a tool and ours is offered with that intent.

As a matter of company policy we share our insights, we are not telling anyone that this is the only way to think. We offered The Emergence Model because it is the only model today which closes to unification and Elegant Reasonism requires such a model to be employed. No where do we claim that The Emergence Model will be the only such model. In fact we expect other models to manifest once people understand the Langer Epistemology Errors we have all been committing for a very long time.

Concept Basics

Concepts will have one introductory paragraph that outlines the associated paradigms, ideas, and rationale.

Traditional Concept Contemplation

This section simply outlines the traditional manner in which a given concept has been contemplated and is generally in line with P1.0 Recognition of Elegant Reasonism. The User Library has papers discussing the various positions many have held over the years and we encourage users to review that material. Understanding the challenges tradition face requires recognition of Langer Epistemology Errors and in a broader sense too Elegant Reasonism as an epistemology in its own right. How the realm in which we exist is perceived will determine how anyone answers this question or describes this concept. This is where Elegant Reasonism as an investigative epistemology comes into its own and does what traditional epistemology have failed to do for centuries. How this specific concept is articulated is a function of which traditional epistemology is employed. And while I am completely capable of articulating those ensuing discussions SolREI management policy is not to place them here. The policy rationale being taken is that these are personal questions and that each individual must wrestle and it is not our place to tell them what to think. We can provide the tools, methodologies, processes, technologies, and epistemology for analytical reconciliation but it is up to the individual whether or not to employ them (e.g. how to think, not what to think). Our mission is not to undermine traditional belief systems. Rather our objective is to empower individuals seeking truth as a function of the actual real unified Universe. Whether or not that describes you is your choice, not ours.

It is expected that concepts be linked to specific original sourced material in our User Library. Given that much, if not most, of this material is in the public domain, the collected set is only found here and the company asserts a collected works copyright on this library for this reason. We also established this as a way to make it easier for our user community to find materials. Works here are generally historically significant and not contemporary. As our Library page states, we may have more material than that available in the library but we can only post material in the public domain. The phrase public domain means that the material was found from at least three different sources at the time we collected it.

Mathematics

The science of mathematics applied here is MMMMMM, but the meaning of the terms being compared mode shifts depending on the fundamental interpretation of foundational context (e.g. the set of models employed). Where MMMMMM is the type of mathematics involved and whether or not it is standardized and generally accepted. An example might be “standard logic calculus”. The point of this declaration establishes the expectation for all equations across all models. This declaration describes the mathematical mechanics implementing the equation or formula. If there are distinctions required for any relative or respective model then that must be explained and rationalized consistent with ISO 9001 QMS standards.

The distinction being made here separates the mechanics of mathematics from abstractions employed as a function of Encapsulated Interpretive Models (EIMs) manifesting context for that relative and respective model. Either our ISO 9001 Unification Tool or its equivalent may be helpful in defining abstractions, constructs, etc. to given investigations.

Mode Shifting Concept Context

This text section outlines the various considerations that must be taken into account mode shifting this particular concept across the model set and is generally in line with P2.0 Illumination. The introductory paragraph should be holistic. Each subsequent paragraph should introduce the concept for each model. The model enumeration may either be in parenthesis or as a title slug. Both are acceptable but if the descriptions are brief simply placing the enumerated model in parenthesis at the beginning of the paragraph is acceptable. Employing a title slug might be used if the subsequent discussion is very involved and detailed requiring sub-sections.

M1 Concept Context

Describing any given point within M1 should capitalize on what it is civilization thinks it knows from traditional sources and contexts. Areas where facets of any given concept are obfuscated by the logic trap nature of this model due to Langer Epistemology Errors should be articulated and positioned with clarity. Leverage the ISO 9001 Unification Tool, or its equivalent to the extent possible. Logic trap issues, concept compression issues, and the like all constitute Sigma Defects, but do not shy away from annotating them as such. Critical thinking demands we recognize the nature of such issues. Recognizing details in these areas often lead to insights as developed by other models. What one model can not accomplish, another often can, greater insights yielded. Such sigma defects are valuable tools.

M5 Concept Context

Lean heavily on the cogent description developing concept descriptions and how paradigms of interest manifest here. There are many areas requiring thought inversion. Systems Engineering skills are a big help here. A quick example that took us several years to grasp was galactic acceleration. We had to realize the implications of Euler’s Beta and Gamma Functions regarding polar convergence in the context of knot theory of gravitons before we realized that a pole reversal at distance would reconcile the problem completely. The Emergence Model now holds that beyond the threshold distance gravitons reverse their ‘high mass’/’low mass’ poles. That pole reversal, like electromagnetism, has the affect of repelling all other masses and driving the noted acceleration. The specifics of these dynamics of architecture will likely be the subject of research in the future. The point here is that do not be afraid of difficult solutions. Answers will come as the investigations mature and the processes & methods proceeds.

Known Unknowns

(M5) Known Unknowns are issues or concepts that are known but as yet unknown regarding the particular concept being discussed. Care should be taken to be more specific than known unknowns already articulated and commonly accepted. That we know very little about the specific configurations of MBPs comprising the complex composite architectures of mass manifesting physical properties, for example. Everyone already is aware of that issue and it is being looked into but no information is yet available. If there are issues which your investigation is focusing on which sheds light on reconciling a known unknown then by all means, please do.

Summary Conclusions

Summary conclusions are just that but they should be in full compliance with the realm of c’s, Elegant Reasonism Rules, Elegant Reasonism Phases: Recognition, Illumination, and Analysis, and all standards.
