The Emergence Model’s logical view: M5

Readers here are cautioned: if this is your first time encountering all of this, that none of the words that follow are in the fundamental interpretive context of your previous experience. Elegant Reasonism leverages a philosophical framework which eliminates Langer Epistemology Errors and juxtaposes intrinsic interpretive context relative to and respective of Encapsulated Interpretive Models (EIMs) of the Universe, one of which must now close to unification. The Emergence Model’s logical view M5 described here, a product of an R&D effort was the first such EIM to close to unification and it is included here in fulfillment of that requirement. It is included in the patent for exactly the same reason. These models manifest context. IT IS IMPROPER TO JUDGE ONE EIM FROM THE CONTEXT OF ANOTHER. BE WARNED. EACH EIM CONTEXT MADE MANIFEST IS DISCRETE AND UNIQUE. CONSEQUENTLY ALL SUCH MODELS ARE CONSIDERED “ENCAPSULATED” BECAUSE THEY ESTABLISH 100% OF THEIR RELATIVE AND RESPECTIVE CONTEXTS.

On May 7th, 2019 the SolREI company filed for and has received Patent Pending 16405134 status on the methods, process, technology, and epistemology called Elegant Reasonism which was published by the USPTO 26Nov2020 – (See Press Relase: Unification Accomplished!!). Elegant Reasonism is the framework approach used in the conduct of our original systems review that ultimately produced The Emergence Model. We had to create an concept sieve of over 400 equations and review considerable volumes of historical perspectives, much of which is in the User Library or elsewhere within our network presence for your review and contemplation.

The M5 Cogent Description

The Emergence Model’s logical view (M5) logically draws its basis from Most Basic Particles (MBPs). MBPs are the quintessential integer, and it is through their “intrinsic nature” all other concepts are derived. It is the MBP in M5 which manifests the three dimensions associated with all real objects not space. M5 is centrally characterized by two processes so derived; “The Fundamental Entanglement Function” which is limited by the other, Severance. The Fundamental Entanglement Function, the ‘build’ process, entangles MBPs into all configurations of “architectural mass” generally envisioned to follow Knot Theory, including dark matter within any given Event Frame. Severance, as an independent process, is ‘the failure mode’ of any given configuration of MBPs and represents the limits of architectural mass to remain intact specifically due to the intrinsic nature of constituent MBPs. Space in M5 is dimensionless nothing. Force, all force, is the work instantiated through the Intrinsic Action of configurations of MBPs forming architectural mass. Architecture of relative and respective constructs so configured determines physical properties which manifest. Time is an “action displacement index” of the relative and respective architectural masses in the frame. Energy is the ability of relative and relevant architectural mass to do that work.

M5 is the only EIM of the recognized Encapsulated Interpretive Models (EIMs), excepting M6, capable of writing such a paragraph.

Something vs Nothing

The Emergence Model boils much of the theoretical physics discussion down to one discussion about something vs nothing. Nothing is irrelevant and therefore meaningless. The discussion then becomes focused on the somethings that are and real.


Epistemologically distilling the argument between something vs nothing, we find that nothing can not influence anything and is therefore irrelevant. The Emergence Model mathematically defines space as “dimensionless nothing”. Mathematically there it may be considered a Special Unitary Group ‘zero’ or simply as SU(0).  Space as an M5 construct is dimensionless nothing. It is therefore completely irrelevant in almost every discussion and cannot influence anything real.

Something vs Nothing Argument

The something vs nothing argument was the genesis of continuing to divide any real ‘something’ to its smallest possible unit and resulted in the concept of the Most Basic Particle (MBP). The Emergence Model establishes two types of reference frames, the Event Frame and the Local Frame. The Event Frame characterizes relevant interactions between real objects whose predominant interactions may be described as one of seven ‘Event Frame Phase Steps’: EFPS1, EFPS2, EFPS3, EFPS4, EFPS5, EFPS6, or EFPS7. Event Frames may be nested, overlapping, sequenced in a number of ways and are always relative to a real geometric basis point (e.g. an MBP or set of them).  The Local Frame characterizes a real object completely immersed in space and is interacting with nothing save itself. A single MBP in a reference frame is an example.

Critical Thinking Changes

We are so used to saying that something real is “in” space that we almost do not think about the implications of those words. Critically we must realize that this is not true. Neither is any matter ‘of space’. A single MBP in a local frame simply exists. Configurations of them comprise various real objects depending on the relative and respective architectures involved. Traditional contemplation imposes thinking about the medium in which a real object exists, and The Emergence Model eliminates that medium completely and demands full attention on all real objects comprised of some configurations of MBPs.

Most Basic Particles (MBPs)

Most Basic Particles, or MBPs, are as their name implies the smallest possible particle. The intrinsic nature of such a construct is that it has three energy states; 0, 1, and 2. State 0 finds MBPs possessing zero energy. State 1 MBPs may entangle with at most 2 other MBPs each. State 2 MBPs possess energies exceeding Severance values for all known systems and thus may not entangle with any other MBPs until such time as its energy state falls to state 1.


M5 is centrally characterized by two processes derived from the intrinsic nature of MBPs; “The Fundamental Entanglement Function” which is limited by the other, Severance. The Fundamental Entanglement Function, the ‘build’ process, entangles MBPs into all configurations of “architectural mass” generally envisioned to follow Knot Theory including dark matter within any given Event Frame.

The Fundamental Entanglement Function

The Fundamental Entanglement Function is the intrinsic ‘build’ process and is a derivative of the MBPs intrinsic nature. There are two key aspects of this function. One is if we take the MBP as a ‘fractal initiator’ then all configurations of them are in the strictest sense ‘fractals’. The next observation is that we we define that intrinsic nature such that each MBP can entangle with at most two other MBPs each then MBPs so configured will first form ‘strings’ and then ‘knots’ both following Knot Theory. This is also consistent with Euler‘s Beta and Gamma Functions.


Severance, as an intrinsic process is crucial to comprehend. Fundamentally it is responsible for all decay and ‘system failure’ in the Universe. It is responsible for the constancy in the speed of light and the frangibility of architectural mass. Because of these two observations allows us to describe our entire Universe (e.g. the area inside our particle horizon) Bang to Bang. Clues to its existence was found in Einstein’s original mathematics and over time we will articulate it with explicit mathematical examples.  Severance fundamentally reshapes how we perceive causality.

Students and investigators should note that it is not fair to judge any of these historical references by modern information sciences standards. That would constitute ‘moving the goal post’ and is generally prohibited by Elegant Reasonism. The idea here is to present the thinking, at the time, by that original author. Where this specifically comes into affect is commission of Langer Epistemology Errors (LEEs); which to make this point salient was first quantified by Susanne K Langer in 1948 and codified by SolREI INC. Another facet of unraveling historical points of view relative to requirements of unification are both logical and physical views in context both Systems Engineering and of LEEs. Subsequent to this contextual update in our thinking we are then required to employ critical situational awareness thinking that something may be logically correct yet remain physically different.

Key Insights

EIM Context Influences Reference Frames

Please refer to: In Unification’s Wake, Part 01: Stereotypical Questions for discussions about a few of the more superficial questions, insights, and implications. It is important for investigators reading this material to be keenly aware of both broad and deep implications of the fact that EIMs establish fundamental foundational context for interpretation. One such factor was the need to establish new types of reference frames which were consistent with The Emergence Model and consequently the Event Frame and Local Frame were developed. The former type frame has seven phase steps associated with it enumerated 1 through 7 as EFPSn where n is the enumerated step. Another was the need to establish an Energy Signature Taxonomy to better describe interactions at given Event Frame Phase Steps, most especially when working to understand evidence in a new context setting. Propositions and Thought Experiments point out the need to shift our focus off the medium of reference frames and onto the architectures of mass in those frame representing everything real.

‘c’ Mode Shifts to Severance

This should not necessarily come as any great surprise. There are more than a few implications however. One being that the constancy in the speed of light becomes a function of Severance cascading in EFPS1 of an Event Frame as a result of centripetal force. Cosmological velocities then are 1) governed by EMCS01Concept 0168: Rapidity, and 2) measured by Hubble’s Red & Blue Shifts. Holistically this effort dismantles the notion of dimensional spacetime restricts or constrains the velocity light. The constancy is associated with the intrinsic nature of MBP configurations, (following Knot Theory), failing under Severance due to the circumstances affecting them. Photons are emitted from electrons due to their architectural mass suffering Severance. These same interactions explain angular momentum and inertia. They also explain the two slot experiments in a larger context of The Fundamental Entanglement Function, limited by Severance. Pilots who experience a ‘glory‘ when flying above clouds or close to the ground are explained with exactly the same factors. These implications do not stop here. They directly affect our perception of many other areas of astrophysics and the space sciences, most especially the age of the Universe – which grow ancient in the extreme. Quite suddenly many incongruities and concept compression issues like Black Hole Growth, BX442‘s seemingly advanced maturity to a Grand Design Spiral Galaxy and many more are simply wiped clean and fall into alignment with the unified Universe.

Bang to Bang

One of the biggest revelations from the intrinsic nature of MBPs is that everything real is subject to their intrinsic nature, including black holes. That implication means that those constructs are subject to Severance every bit as much as electrons and photons. That implication brought forth the realization that under the right circumstances architectural mass is frangible, including black holes. That revelation redefined how the Big Bang was instantiated and made manifest. Once one is able to mechanically describe the unified Universe Bang to Bang you are immediately confronted with the requirement to illuminate and illustrate evidence chain relationships to every other real construct no matter how restful the relationship may be. Unification demands nothing less. Consequently unification represents a tapestry of awareness a great deal larger than any single domain of discourse, detail set, or discipline. Investigators reading page one of the Elegant Reasonism White Paper will note the increased synergy between philosophy and science. When we begin to assess restful relationships across the entanglement gradient we suddenly find room to describe the emergence of organic matter from inorganic due to architectural configuration saturation and density of complex composite constructs and their constituents. We are able to better understand relationships as far flug as Art Appreciation through Susanne K Langer‘s body of work. The action principle (Concepts 0008 & 0009 within EMCS01) systemically applied through biological systems suddenly find purchase in the body of work by Ludwig von Mises treatise: Human Action, A Treatise on Economics.

Holistic Congruence

For those of us working on the original systems review the single most surprising aspect of all this is the holistic congruence. When we started our investigation into impact dynamics all those years ago, unification was not on our radar anywhere. So much so that we didn’t even realize we had accomplished unification for several years after the fact, and it literally was right under our noses. It took quite awhile to assimilate the accomplishment. We tried for years to get folks to talk to us about it and none would. They were blinded by past successes and firmly entrenched in status quo thinking. The last thing anyone expected were the implications of Langer Epistemology Errors. Those who believed they were working directly with actual reality and are vested in that position will have the most difficult time with all of this. Management and leaders should take great care and empathy because those vested in status quo thinking are very lilkely going to go through the 7 stages of grief dealing with all this:

  1. Disbelief & Shock
  2. Denial
  3. Guilt & Pain
  4. Barganing
  5. Anger
  6. Depression
  7. Acceptance

Implications of a Most Basic Particle (MBP)

There are considerably more implications than we are listing here. Please understand we are simply hitting the highlights.

Systems Thinking

For decades Systems Engineering practitioners have been bombarded with observations about the applicability of their profession to other types of systems. If we take MBPs, and their intrinsic nature, as a system then everything real is a system or system of systems in context of The Fundamental Entanglement Function, limited by Severance. The good news is that we have a profession geared for such topics. The bad news is that many of them would prefer to work on anthropogenic systems than natural systems. Either way though it appears that the profession will be in no short supply of opportunity any time soon.

The MBP as a Fractal Initiator

The very direct implication of this means that the unified Universe, as defined under M5, is a fractal. There is a bit of story here, likely for another time. Both McGowen and Dr. Mandelbrot worked for IBM at the same time and their paths cross if only because of a project and on the phone and via email. Both left IBM and pursued other endeavors, but they kept in contact. In the months before Dr. Mandelbrot’s passing from pancreatic cancer McGowen was exchanging notes about insights being learned from impact dynamics, especially relative to some earthquakes transpiring in Chile. While we never got confirmation back McGowen was very gratified to have been able to send an email note suggesting that the Universe was a fractal to the inventor of The Fractal Geometry of Nature. RIP sir, you will be missed. To that end McGowen placed a brief memorial to Dr. Mandelbrot on page 7 of the original systems review notes in 2012 to honor all that he was. In his own words he had an insatiable curiosity. Likely that was a trait we and many other IBMers share.
