2D Translation Table Articulation Layer


Articulating Basic Context

The first layer of Translation Matrices is in isolation the 2D Translation Table Articulation Layer. This layer is responsible for articulating basic context of investigations. It accomplishes this through basic articulation of Paradigms Of Interest/Nature (POI/N) juxtaposed with the employed EIMs under Elegant Reasonism Rules. Relative to the investigation phases of Elegant Reasonism: Recognition, Illumination, and Analysis it is acceptable for some columns not to contain intersecting cell content in early stages if that information is yet to be determined. Every cell should ultimately be completed before the end of P2.0 Illumination in order to navigate the Process Decision Checkpoint Flowchart (PDCF).

Original Systems Review Notes

The intersection of POI/N and EIMs within this table should manifest that POI/N relative to and respective of that particular EIMs consistent with all aspects needed for subsequent analytical review. Anchor points should be capable of supporting all evidence chains linked to this particular cell. Requirements of any given investigation should only be as detailed as is required to accomplish goals and objectives. Keeping It Simple makes initial assessments easier. Investigators may find it helpful to review our original systems review notes for specific examples.

This layer of Translation Matrices is the initial reference layer enabling mode shifting EIM to EIM for a given POI/N. Some investigations may find that during recursive review loops that their chosen POI/N requires parsing and segregation in order to support their particular quest. It may also be useful to group and organize POI/N in order to better achieve ISO 9001 QMS objectives and Six Sigma. These decisions will be made by the investigation teams.


  1. Rules for this layer are subservient to overarching Elegant Reasonism Rules.
  2. All rules are holistically compliant with Elegant Reasonism.
  3. The ISO 9001 Unification Tool may be used for declaration of models by investigative teams.
  4. Only recognized (e.g. declared) models may be used in official investigations. M0 through M7 are recognized base models, one is reserved and is currently unavailable for use (e.g. M7). Critical Thinking demands that there may be no discussion involving abstracts, concepts, paradigms, models, rules, descriptions, etc., whose fundamental definitions are not in the ISO 9001 Unification Tool or its equivalent employed by any investigation team. NOTE: SolREI strongly encourages the international community to come together to establish baseline standards across all models.   5. Concept integrity is important. That is to say no concept dependency should be left out or off of a given [ideal] translation table.
  6. Model integrity is “column centric.”
  7. Six Sigma is a statistical methodology to measure model quality and overall quality of the investigation underway. It should be noted that Six Sigma must also conform to EIM rules in that it can not penetrate encapsulation boundaries. Therefore each EIM has an associated Sigma Value and incremental areas of Translation Matrices analytical areas will have additional Sigma defects and values. The overall, holistic sigma ratios will be represented as appropriate for the specific investigation as that team deems appropriate.
  8. ISO 9001 QMS standards assure information discipline.
  9. Paradigms of Interest/Nature (POI/N) should be “model neutral” to the extent possible exactly because every model is required to declare its position relative to and respective of that paradigm. It serves no purpose to list paradigms no model may manifest in any real manner.
  10. One need only include the paradigms necessary for a specific investigation in order to render an effective translation table. That is to say one need not include all of science in every table. Rather, just used what is needed to make the point or resolve the issue.
  11. The Domain of Discourse falls into essentially two classes: Model Integrity and cells supporting analysis. It should be noted that a logic artifact in one model may support and prove capability in a different model which would then be borne out by logic calculus and Bayesian statistics. Logic calculus then may span models and may then be presented external to the Translation Table.
  12. The presence of Logic Artifacts, Logic Traps, either within model(s) or whole tables will likely impact information use and quality management negatively. Consequently such constructs constitute Sigma Defects. All metrics should assure integrity of the assessment. Key areas of assessment are:
    1. Geometry cogently and cohesively applied. How many geometric constructs are there?
    2. Does each have its own geometric basis point or is absolutely every construct isotropically represented by a single geometric basis point? More than one basis point earns demerits and impacts the quality metric negatively.
    3. Plausible path established. Is cohesion of concepts clear? Critical for any given model but is also important for the holistic table.
