Teaching Science In Unification's Wake

Fully comprehending Susanne K Langer's body of work relative to and respective of the domain of discourse and detail sets involved with the mission of teaching science is likely going to prove fertal ground for investigative research for some time to come. Part of the issue is intrinsic to our human physiology, most especially the Central Nervous System (CNS), Brain, and other aspects which conspire to manifest something we call Neural Network Reconfiguration by Programming or (NNRP). Ironically the more students know about the unified Universe the more aligned withit they are in a physical sense. There is a self-reinforcing critical situational awareness in thinking that transpires as a result. Where this leads is going to be interesting to watch in the coming years. We have begun a review of what an Elegant Reasonism curricula would look like but we invite all constructive feedback. Our intent is not to declare what such a curricula should be but rather to foster debate on that subject in order that we might facilitate a trend toward consensus.

The Monkey Wrench

Langer Epistemology Errors (LEEs) poses something of a monkey wrench being thrown into traditional approaches to teaching science exactly for all the reasons they enable empiricism logic traps. Epistemologically we need to teach our progeny to recognize distinctions of logial vs physical systems and help them to recognize the limitations of our own physiology re: abstractions across all Brodmann Areas of the Brain and how NNRP works so they appreciate how experiences influences their ability to perceive and interpret the realm in which we all exist.

Missing from the above graphic image are implications of Langer Epistemology Errors (LEEs). We must recognize that abstractions have a tendency to insulate and isolate higher ordered ideas from lower ordered details and then we must reconcile all of that systemically across the entire entanglement gradient both along the emergence vector and the convergence vector.

These issues do not impact just education they impact the entire scientific community and its processes, including peer-review. If the set of elements within a given peer group do not recognize the path to unification then we must question the processes they use to inspect the accuracy, precision, resolution, or any other aspect of a given piece of work. Just because that work logically ties out to a given Encapsulated Interpretative Model (EIM) does not guarantee that it also closes to unification in full compliance of Elegant Reasonism holistically presented here. Standards apply not just to enterprise level process re-engineering but across the academic spectrum as well, including accreditation. Historically epistemological belief systems were challenging to discuss relative to one another. Part of the good news in all of this is that Elegant Reasonism was designed to leverage what it is we think we know and mode shift it into alignment with the unified Universe. The implication of this is that there is a path forward already established and nothing we have already done is wasted. Historical works then become part of the tool set used to illuminate what must be. Scientists generally fell into the empiricism flock because being able to repeat some experiment, its process, and results was something that could be relatively easily accomplished. Other humans performing the same set of criteria would achieve the same results which then constituted independent validation. Other epistemologies have other sources of truth associated with them, including Elegant Reasonism which seeks truth as a function of the unified Universe.  Elegant Reasonism is something of a superset epistemology in as much as it will integrate all other epistemologies and statistically weight them relative to and respective of their ability to align with the unified Universe. Part of its mission is to illuminate and illustrate. It can do that better if it knows where the other epistemologies stand on a given Paradigm of Interest/Nature (POI/N).

There is a more subtle implication from the above paragraph relative to and respective of traditional epistemological approaches and it is that where before there was no philosophical basis for distinction, now there is. We can scientifically position through this analysis where those epistemological approaches stand relative to and respective of the unified Universe. While many adherents will persist in the faith their epistemology manifests they can only ignore and deny, they can not prove. They will find themselves in a shrinking realm that is not aligned with the reality of the unified Universe.

Knowledge Management

Elegant Reasonism's utility process and analytical framework does not just weight traditional epistemologies it also integrates Bayesian Analytics which any given investigation may employ for a number of uses, the least of which is development of education roadmaps relative to and respective of the Paradigm of Interest/Nature (POI/N) which was their focus, goal, and objective. Knowledge Management across this space is going to be increasingly important. Privacy laws and legislation need to support and nurture the individual and not those who would seek to manipulate them for commercial profit or gain and we need look no further than NNRP to understand the reasons why that must be the case.
